Sandra’s quilts are best known for her mastery of hand appliqué and embellishment technique.  Combining her art background and years of working with fiber, Sandra has created stunning quilts that are both art and traditional in style.

Her work has consistently garnered major juried national and international awards including the RJR Best of Show Wall Quilt at the AQS quilt show in Paducah and a Master’s Award at the International Quilt Festival in Houston. Her work is included in the permanent collections of two national quilt museums including most recently, the Museum of the American Quilter’s Society. 

Sandra has also appeared on two PBS specials and The American Quilter television program. Sandra and her quilts have been published in many sources worldwide.
